Volunteer positions include:

  • Main Desk – checking email and writing up requests, answering the phone, filing. There are two main desk shifts a day. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Assistant Desk – greeting clients, filing, answering the phone, helping the Director as needed. There are two assistant desk shifts a day. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Pantry Worker – putting food orders together, assisting clients picking up their baskets, stocking shelves. There are two pantry shifts a day. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Warehouse Worker- warehouse workers come help with picking up food from local grocery stores that particpate in the Feeding American Program. Normal hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
  • Runner- Runners arrive in the morning. Their duties include some shopping and delivering groceries to clients without vehicles. Depneding on the day, this position can work from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..
